The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) Safe Mobility for Life Coalition is helping Floridians achieve lifelong mobility independence during Older Driver Safety Awareness Week and beyond.

This week (and every week) the Safe Mobility for Life Coalition encourages Floridians to seek mobility independence – being able to safely get around their communities with or without a car. Building a well-rounded transportation plan before it is needed is one of the first steps to ensuring that transportation is not a barrier stranding people at home.
