Keeping Safe While Driving
To keep you safe while driving, it is important to know
the resources that are available here in Florida to help
you remain a proactive driver*.
CarFit Safety Events
CarFit is an educational safety program created by the
American Society on Aging and developed jointly with
the American Automobile Association (AAA), AARP,
and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
CarFit is designed to keep you safe and comfortable
by improving the “fit” between you and your
vehicle. CarFit helps
promote safe driving
conversations while
providing information
about transportation
safety and mobility
resources available in
your community.
CarFit checkups are
free, fun, and don’t take
up much of your time.
Trained volunteers will
help you learn things
such as:

of sight over your
steering wheel?
